Filian

Filian is an independent English-speaking VTuber from North America, known for her VRChat streams, her comedy and her community, the Snackers.1 She started streaming on Twitch in April 20212 and grew into one of the largest independent VTubers online, with more than 3 million subscribers on YouTube and about 1.3 million followers on Twitch by 2026.3

She created and hosted The VTuber Awards, a yearly award show for VTubers produced with her management company, Mythic Talent.4 She has not streamed since 7 December 2025, and in May 2026 the content of her channels was removed. A countdown site, filianIsLost, appeared weeks later; as of October 2026 there is no official explanation.3,1

History

Beginnings (2021)

Filian's first Twitch stream was on 17 April 2021. She streamed without an avatar at first, became a PNGTuber at the end of May 2021, and began streaming with her first full PNG model in October 2021.2 Most of her content comes from VRChat.5

Nine months in, in March 2022, her Twitch channel reached 100,000 followers, and she celebrated with her first subathon, promising to stay live for 24 to 48 hours when her longest stream so far had been 8.6 Her account on X has long been @filianislost.7

On 18 March 2022 she played for Team Soda, with Sodapoppin, Sourfour, Roflgator and Lacari, in an OTK event shown on Emiru's channel.5

Mythic Talent and growth (2023)

On 1 May 2023 Filian signed with Mythic Talent, a management company affiliated with the gaming organization OTK, which had been founded earlier that year by OTK's Asmongold and TipsOut.8 :fillyUnite:

By June 2023 her Twitch channel had about 600,000 followers.8 She marked it with a subathon that began on 2 June 2023.7

On 16 February 2023 she hosted a game show in which Nekrolina, Layna Lazar, Lumi Kaneko, Bao, Miilkywayz, Elly, Hinabobina, Neuro-sama, Aroma Great and Saruei competed for Shylily's heart.5

The VTuber Awards (2023 and 2024)

In June 2023 Filian announced The VTuber Awards, a show meant to bring the whole VTuber community together. "It's been a dream of mine to bring the entire Vtubing community together. This show is going to be BIG," she said at the announcement.8

Both ceremonies were organized by Mythic Talent.4 :fillyVibe:

In August 2025 WePlay Studios, the production partner of both ceremonies, said it would stop working on the awards, over Filian's joint project with a Russian VTuber, which the company called inconsistent with its values. The decision drew criticism from many Western fans and support from Ukrainian audiences.4

The Nendoroid (2024)

In 2024 Good Smile Company announced a Nendoroid figure of Filian and then withdrew it. Her avatar is based on the Rindo VRChat model, and its maker, Studio Jingo, said it had not been told about the figure and asked for production using the design to stop.3,9

Last streams (December 2025)

On 5 December 2025 Filian joined the AI VTuber Neuro-sama, her creator Vedal, and the VTuber Crelly in a marathon stream trying to beat Minecraft.10 Her last stream was on 7 December 2025.3

Collaborations

Filian likes streaming with others, most of all in VRChat.5 Among the people she has streamed with:

Fan wikis also list Nihmune, Saruei, Silvervale, CodeMiko, Porcelain Maid, Punkalopi, Trickywi, Sykkuno, Mizkif, Emiru, JimmyHere, Esfand, Lacari, Snuffy and others among her collaborators.7 Pages about many of them are still to be written: each link above leads to one.

Hiatus and filianIsLost (2026)

:fillyOffline: Around 1 May 2026 the content of Filian's accounts was removed:

On 29 May 2026 a website, filianislost.com, named like her long-standing X account, appeared with a countdown on a black screen, the words "PHASE 1" and an e-mail sign-up box. The countdown ran out on 1 June 2026 at 5 PM ET.3 After it the site showed a page known as "The Wall".1

As of August 2026 her YouTube channel was still empty, her Twitch dormant, and no statement had come from Filian or Mythic Talent.1 :fillyThinking:

Fan theory, not fact. What follows is what the community has pieced together or guesses. Filian has not confirmed it, and it is not a hint from her.

Fans have read the wipe and the countdown as a rebrand, perhaps to leave the model rights questions behind, or as an alternate reality game leading to her return. None of this has been confirmed.1 This wiki is a fan project and is not part of any such game.
